Jethro's eyes are the same color as Ducky's ink.
An established relationship story.
Written: October 2007. Word count: 100.
I am old-fashioned enough, not only to still write letters, but also to use an ink-pen with which to write.
The color ink I use is the same color as my beloved's eyes: midnight blue.
Over the years I have written many love letters to Jethro, which I have never sent.
I have, however, kept them all. The ink on the older ones is fading; it is no longer the color of midnight, but a lighter color, more like my own.
The ink on my letters to Jethro may have faded over the years, my love for him never shall.
