Ray buys a Valentine's Day card.

An established relationship story.

Written: February 2008. Word count: 100.

It felt strange buying a Valentine's card for a bloke, but Ray was determined to do it.

After all, a Valentine meant love, didn't it? And he loved Bodie, didn't he? Yeah, he did, he loved the daft bugger, warts and all.

So strange or not, he was going to buy Bodie a card – assuming he could find one that wasn't too cloying.

"Happy Valentine's Day, Bodie," he mumbled.

The smile that lit up Bodie's face, and the way he grabbed Ray and kissed him, changed Ray's mind.

Buying a card for Bodie wasn't strange. It wasn't strange at all.
